Kingfield Barbell Head Coach

Coach Chris began his weightlifting and coaching journey in 2012. He competed in his first weightlifting competition at the Minnesota Open in 2014, and qualified for the American Open. He’s competed in the American Open every year since, as well as in Under 25 Nationals in 2016. During that time, he received his USAW Level 1 Certification and in 2015, he started Kingfield Barbell.


Chris is always studying and refining his craft in an effort to further develop his athletes and the Kingfield community.  Outside of the gym, you can find Chris eating Chinese food and lots of ice cream, watching superhero movies, and cheering on the Vikings (...and then the Patriots).  To learn more about Chris as an athlete and a coach, check out our blog.
